Do you relate
to the following Hospital applications? We have the solution
for you!
Problem:
Our Nurse Call system is old. When
a patient presses a call button, a loud bell rings and
lights flash on a panel to call for attention. We want
to upgrade to a wireless paging system at a minimum cost.
DigiPager Solution:
Connect existing pushbutton wiring to
PageAlert modules and use a DigiPager Wireless unit. Give
a Cricket pager to each Nurse. When a pushbutton is pressed,
silently within seconds, DigiPager transmits the room number
to a selected Nurse.

Problem:
We have a Rauland-Borg
Nurse Call Responder IV system that works well in delivering
messages to an old paging transmitter that is not very
reliable and fails very often. Also, Hospital staff wants
to page Nurses by using any touch-tone phone.
QUIKPAGER Wireless
Solution:
Connect
the Rauland-Borg Nurse Call system (or any Nurse Call System
designed for pocket pagers), to QUIKPAGER Wireless. Messages
will flow fast and smoothly. Priority messages will be
sent immediately over other messages in process. Anyone
can call QUIKPAGER by dialing a local extension number
and page people by following voice prompts.
Problem:
Patients roam the
Hospital and we need to immediately help them in case of
an emergency. We also need to move patients in beds and
we don't have access to wired call buttons. We need a wireless
alert paging system to page nurses giving the name and
current location of the patients.
PageAlert Wireless Solution
Use the CMX223
wristband PageAlert wireless transmitter for patients.
Install PageAlert Wireless locator devices throughout your
building according to identified zones. Use QUIKPAGER Wireless
to send to pocket text pagers the name of patient and their
location when they press the wristband pushbutton for help.

Problem
For more effective staff communication,
we provided Nurses with pocket wireless phones. Today,
they carry the phone for voice communication and the pocket
pager for messages from the Nurse Call system. We want
to page Nurse Calls messages to the wireless telephones
and eliminate the pager.
QUIKTEL Wireless Solution
QUIKTEL Wireless receives text
messages from the Nurse Call system. Instantly, QUIKTEL
Wireless dials the corresponding wireless phone and
delivers the text message converted to voice. For example,
the Nurse Call system needs to page text message "Room
234 code blue" to nurse Mary. QUIKTEL Wireless is programmed
to dial Mary's phone for messages from room 234. When she
answers, she hears a voice saying "ROOM 234 CODE BLUE".
She may enter a programmable code for acknowledgment. Voice
messages can also be sent to two-way radios.

Problem
In addition to
paging messages from the Nurse Call system, our switchboard
operators need to page people while answering calls.
QUIKPAGER 2400 Solution
Provide low cost, QUIKPAGER 2400 keyboard
units to telephone operators. Using QUIKSERVER units to simply
connect QUIKPAGER 2400 to QUIKPAGER Wireless.

Problem:
We have two Hospital buildings separated
by 25 miles. Messages are originated in each Hospital by
their telephone operators and their Nurse Call system.
We need to page the same text message in both locations.
QUIKPAGER Wireless LINK Solution
Use a standard telephone line to establish
a link in between two QUIKPAGER Wireless at each Hospital.
After a QUIKPAGER pages locally a message, it sends the
same message over the telephone line to the other QUIKPAGER
for transmission. One QUIKPAGER dials the other QUIKPAGER
and remains permanently connected. If the connection is
broken, QUIKPAGER dials again to reestablish the connection.
QUIKPAGER can also be programmed to only dial when there
is a message to transmit to the other Hospital.
