Canamex
Communications Corporation was founded in 1978.
During the first years of operation
starting in 1978, Canamex Communications sold Television
Broadcast turn-key projects which included the design and
supply of equipment for Television and Radio Stations.
In 1989, Canamex Communications designed and manufactured
the QUIKTEL system, the first-ever intra-office equipment
to deliver 2 way messages throughout offices. The system
allows the secretary answering calls the ability to deliver
a text message to each of the executive's desk, who could
instantly reply with a response. In 1992, the QUIKTEL line
was expanded with the design and manufacture of QUIKPAGER
which has been a success story in the market place ever
since. QUIKPAGER's
reliability has made this product the preferred choice
of many paging companies who depend on this device to increase
air time revenue. In 1998, Canamex Communications began
delivery of miniPAGER.
Today, miniPAGER is ready for high volume distribution
through retail wireless stores. miniPAGER offers tremendous
benefits to the end-user such as automatic transmission
of Caller ID Name and Number to their pager or PCS text
phone. This is vital information that business people can
use to increase productivity.
In the Summer of 1999, Canamex released
the QUIKPAGER Wireless product line for on-site paging,
as a response to a strong market demand for a reliable,
simple-to-use on-site paging system. QUIKPAGER
Wireless, together with its modular product line, has
proven to be cost effective and highly reliable in mission
critical applications such as Hospitals. QUIKPAGER Wireless
is used for on-site paging in Hotels, Warehouses, Stores,
Malls and in many other applications.
Today, Canamex Communications continues
to grow. The R&D plan for year 2000 is to complete
additional products currently under development which will
enhance on-site paging and other telecommunications services
in the wireless industry.
