WHY 900MHZ SYSTEMS OFFER BETTER
SUPERVISION FCC
regulations effectively limit
300MHz non-alarm transmissions to one per hour. That's
why it takes up to 24 hours to detect a missing or
inactive transmitter on supervised 300MHz systems.
Note that some 300MHz systems do NOT even provide this
super-vision! However, there are no such restrictions
for 900MHz Spread Spectrum systems.With Inovonics wireless
systems, trans-mitters can send supervisory sig-nals
(check-ins) as often as every 10 seconds, allowing
a missing transmitter to be detected in less than one
hour, or even 20 min-utes in some applications. Please
call if you need a supervision win-dow less than one
