Sending messages to commercial pagers is an option of PageRouter Pro.

Commercial paging companies provide citywide or nationwide coverage at a monthly fee.
PageRouter Pro has the capability to deliver messages to one or more paging companies for
commercial pager users.

The advantages in using PageRouter Pro to send messages to commercial pagers are:

- Use WebPager to send messages to users, Groups or Departments with commercial pagers.
- Faster delivery of messages to commercial paging services.
- Page commercial pager users from unlimited computers regardless of the service.
- Obtain a log that shows detailed messages sent to commercial paging companies.

Dialup

PageRouter Pro connects to a QUIKPAGER 2400 that uses a standard analogue telephone
line to dial up and connect with up to 32 paging companies. Messages are delivered on a
modem-to-modem connection using TAP protocol, which is the standard connection with
every paging company. A QUIKPAGER 2400 keyboard can be used as a backup entry point.
QUIKPAGER 2400 auto-dials if the line rings busy.

Dedicated telephone line

PageRouter Pro can be permanently connected with a paging company using a dedicated
telephone landline and external modems. This method saves 25 seconds of dialup connecting
time by delivering messages to the paging company in a few seconds. Auto-dial modems
ensure constant connection with a paging company.

WCTP and SNPP Internet connection with FailSafe

PageRouter Pro can deliver messages over the Internet to an unlimited number of paging
companies using WCTP and SNPP protocol. This method is very effective to deliver messages to the paging company in a few seconds.

With FailSafe, PageRouter will automatically switch delivery from WCTP TO SNPP if the WCTP server connection failed. PageRouter will also automatically switch from SNPP to Dialup if the SNPP server connection failed. FailSafe guarantees 99.9999% message delivery to a paging company

PageRouter Pro can connect to paging companies using one or more of the following
methods. Contact your paging company to determine how they accept messages from
remote paging systems.

Combine Onsite with Commercial paging

PageRouter Pro allows you to combine the options of Onsite paging with Commercial paging
at any time. For example, you can have a number of onsite pagers for those who work only
at your location and commercial pagers for those who travel around the city or the country.
Programming is easily done in each user profile. The log shows the message destination with
the date and time of transmission and the text of the message.
