Use PageRouter Pro flexibility for remote locations |
The Multiple Locations option of PageRouter Pro allows: - Distribution of messages for onsite paging at remote locations regardless of the distance. - Monitoring of events at remote locations for alert notification at the same site, other sites or at a central location. |
PageRouter Pro at a central location simultaneously communicates with an unlimited number of remote locations using DigiPager Link software running on a computer connected to the intranet or the Internet. |
by using patented TeraMessage protocol where every single message is encrypted. TeraMessage applies the same AES-256 secure algorithms used by secret agencies that demand protected communications when sending data over private and public Internet networks. Text messages and alert monitoring information are always encrypted using random unlock keys. There is no way for an external hacker to grab and read an encrypted message. PageRouter Pro and DigiPager Link are the only ones that can decode each particular message and alarm notification. |
Secure text messaging and monitoring communication between PageRouter Pro and remote locations is achieved |
A consortium generates electricity at three dams separated by hundreds of miles. A PageRouter Pro is used to page alert notifications and text messages to staff at each dam location. A Canamex combined external and distributed antenna is used to broadcast paging in a radius of 10 miles and inside the tunnels of each dam. Alert messages are delivered within seconds to selected individuals or groups of people at one or at all the dams, depending on programming alarm level. A central PageRouter Pro uses the consortium fiber optic network to communicate with DigiPager Link at each dam. Communication with the 3rd dam is via an Internet connection to the central PageRouter Pro, secured by TeraMessage’s AES-256 sophisticated encryption. At each Dam, a DigiPager Link application is installed on a network computer running Windows XP. A PageAlert module is connected to this network computer and communication is established with PageRouter Pro over the network and the Internet. Note that the Dam # 2 uses a DigiPager transmitter to send messages to people with onsite pagers outside and inside the tunnels. Staff at Dam #2 can use any computer to send onsite messages to staff at their location. At each location, a PA-16 PageAlert module is connected to relays from the local alarm monitoring system. A text canned message is programmed in DigiPager Link for each alarm relay. The canned message is transmitted to the central PageRouter Pro in the event that the local relay closes or opens as a result of an alarm. PageRouter Pro sends the alarm message to onsite pagers at the central location using a DigiPager transmitter. |

APPLICATION EXAMPLES |
A nationwide retailer needs to announce bargain prices to its customers when shopping at their 200 stores located across the USA. Price Managers at the Head Office control announcement of prices at one or several stores. They also need to page store managers with routine and emergency messages. Reliable instant message distribution is of great importance to achieve their marketing goals. Each store has a DigiPager transmitter connected to a computer running DigiPager Link software. Each DigiPager Link is safely connected to the central PageRouter Pro over the Internet since message communication is encrypted. Pricing Managers at Head Office send messages with sale announcements directly to LCD signs strategically located within each remote store. Supervisors and Store Managers carry onsite pagers to also receive text messages from Head Office. Managers and supervisors can easily access any computer to send text messages to staff with pagers in their stores. In addition to facilitating manual entry of price messages for selected stores, PageRouter Pro can also accept messages from the Store Pricing Application over a network connection using a PageRouter Pro API.
