Onsite paging
Paging transmitter license
Onsite paging is an option of PageRouter Pro used to send messages directly to
people with onsite pagers.

The advantages of Onsite paging are:

- Each individual message is delivered to one or a Group of pagers in seconds.
- There are no monthly airtime service fees.
- You will own the FCC frequency license regardless of transmitting power.
- PageRouter Pro will provide a log with detailed transmitted messages
- When using the
SENTINEL module, the PageRouter Pro log shows transmission
over-the-air confirmation for each message.
Area of onsite paging coverage
Onsite pagers receive messages from a Canamex paging
transmitter delivered with
PageRouter Pro, which is installed in
your building. The paging signal is radiated by an antenna included
with the transmitter. The power of the transmitter and the type of
the antenna are chosen by the Canamex Engineering Department
depending on the size of the building and the areas where people
with onsite pagers need to receive messages such as basements,
parking lots and critical floors.

Canamex Communications can provide a high power transmitter in
a rack and antenna equipment to cover a campus and
an area of
up to 20 miles in radius
, depending on the height of the building
and terrain.
Installation services
When it is necessary to install an antenna of the roof to ensure
coverage in a large building or campus, Canamex Communications
offers professional services to install the transmitter rack and
antennas on the roof.
Here are some examples of buildings that PageRouter Pro can cover with onsite paging.

Private paging systems operate by transmitting a signal over the air on a selected frequency.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the USA regulate the use of the frequency
spectrum for radio transmission of paging signals by granting a Radio License to companies
that own the paging equipment. These regulations apply to fixed paging transmitters with
power of 2 Watts or more, which is typical of onsite paging transmitters found on the market,
including Canamex equipment. Check it out for yourself at
www.fcc.gov
In Canada, the Department of Spectrum Management of Industry Canada (IC) regulates the
use of the frequency spectrum and also mandates to obtain a Radio Licenses for fixed paging
equipment with 2 Watts or more. If you are in Canada, please visit
www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/eng/h_sf01847.html
It is very important that your company complies with these Government regulations that say
that
YOU are responsible to have your own Radio License.

Whether you are in the USA or Canada, when you buy a Canamex Communications paging
system, you will receive a Radio License in the name of your company. Keep this important
benefit in mind when making a buying decision.
Have peace of mind and avoid possible
heavy fines.
