With PageRouter, you can manage messages from multiple sources.

Touch-tone Telephones

- Page from telephones inside or outside the building.
- Trigger unlimited programmable canned messages.
- Convert easily regular to "priority messages that jump queue to be transmitted in seconds.

Nurse Kelly picks up the telephone and enters an extension number connected to PageRouter. She
enters "code blue" 711 and triggers a canned message appended with a room number. She
makes this message a "priority" to be paged in a few seconds to the emergency response team.

Unlimited network computers

- The PageRouter WebPager allows paging from unlimited computers.
- Use Internet Explorer or any browser. There is no need to install special client software.
- Users can simultaneously page one or more users, Groups and Departments.

Nurse Brown needs to page Dr. King and uses Internet Explorer to log into WebPager. Types
"King" and the text of the message. She presses a key to send the message without the need of
the mouse. Dr. King receives the message in his onsite pager in a few seconds.

Computers on the Internet

Open a reserved port in your firewall only for WebPager to allow people to send messages from
any computer on the Internet. Use an SSL security certificate for WebPager.

Dr. Davis is at a convention and needs to send a message to Nurse Brown regarding the status of
a patient. He goes to any computer on the Internet and logs into WebPager. He types "Brown",
"How is patient Rockwell? He presses a key to send. Nurse Brown receives the message on her
pager in just a few seconds!

Email and Mobile Wireless Devices

Program a mailbox to selected users who want to receive email messages on their onsite pagers.
Users can then receive email messages from Outlook, emailers, test equipment and mobile
devices.

Dr. Roberts uses his Blackberry to send an email to Nurse Kelly's pager email address. i.e.:
Kelly@hospital.com. A moment later, Nurse Kelly receives the email from Dr. Roberts' Blackberry
on her pager while she is in the cafeteria. Nurse Kelly will reply to Dr. Roberts' Blackberry as soon
as she reaches any network computer. An important two-way communication just happened.

Nurse Call systems

PageRouter can manage messages from Nurse Call systems. Messages are sent to one or more
Destinations according to programming for users and Groups.

Alarm and Medical Monitors, and from other messaging systems

Connect monitoring systems and other messaging systems to PageRouter for integration.
