DigiPager Wireless DPW-2W and DPW-5W are self-contained, onsite paging transmitters used to send message to numeric, alphanumeric and vibrate pagers. DigiPager Wireless has numerous applications. Refer to DigiPager Wireless Application Guide.

       DigiPager Wireless Specifications

  • Internal 2 or 5 Watt, synthesized transmitter.
  • Extend range from 1 to 25 miles with Power Amplifiers of 25, 35, 50, 100 and 250 Watts available.
  • Transmission in POCSAG format to alphanumeric, numeric and tone/vibration pagers.
  • Automatic selection of transmission data rates of 512, 1200 and 2400 baud.
  • Numeric keypad with heavy duty, sealed switches.
  • (1) COM serial port for TAP inbound messages at 2400 baud, 8,N,1.
  • PageAlert software included to notify alarm status of up to 96 monitor points or panic wireless buttons.

System Modules

The following modules can be connected to DigiPager Wireless to expand the operational features of the system.

QUIKPAGER 2400

Connect QUIKPAGER 2400 to DigiPager to send text messages to alphanumeric pagers.

2-LVU/4-LVU

Use the 2-Line Voice Prompt Unit (2-LVU) to avoid busy signals when calling QUIKPAGER Wireless to page from a telephone. The 2-LVU uses independent voice prompts to simultaneously answer calls from 2 telephone lines. Program the PBX lines in hunting mode to always call the same extension.

A 4-Line Voice Prompt Unit (4-LVU) is available to answer calls from (2) telephone lines.

QUIKSERVER

QUIKSERVER is a TAP concentrator module used to route messages to QUIKPAGER Wireless from up to (3) independent TAP sources such as Nurse Call systems, Monitor and Alarm systems, QUIKPAGER 2400, etc. The TAP output connects to DigiPager Wireless. QUIKSERVER has an internal battery to retain messages in transit in case of power failure.

PageAlert

Use PageAlert to notify any change of status of 16 dry-contact ports. By programming DigiPager Wireless you can assign each port to page one person or a group of people. Each port can be programmed with a canned message. You can program each port to page on contact closure or contact open. PageAlert is ideal for monitoring status of alarm systems in buildings, machinery, temperature, humidity, smoke, doors and numerous industrial and commercial applications. PageAlert connects to DigiPager using an RS-232 cable of up to 500 ft. in length.

PageAlert Extender

Each PageAlert Extender provides an additional 16 monitoring ports to the system. You can use up to (5) PageAlert Extenders with PageAlert to monitor up to (96) ports.
