| System Modules
The following
modules can be connected to QUIKPAGER Wireless
to expand the operational features of the system.
QUIKPAGER 2400
Use
QUIKPAGER 2400 for additional points of
entry.
4-LVU and 2-LVU
Use the 4-Line Voice Prompt
Unit (4-LVU) to avoid busy signals when calling
QUIKPAGER Wireless to page from a telephone. The
4-LVU uses independent voice prompts to simultaneously
answer calls from 4 telephone lines. The
(2-LVU) answers calls from 2 telephone lines.
The TAP RS-232 output can be connected directly to
QUIKPAGER Wireless or through QUIKSERVER in a multiple
configuration.
QUIKSERVER Unit
QUIKSERVER
is a TAP concentrator module used to route messages
to QUIKPAGER Wireless from up to (3) independent
TAP sources such as Nurse Call systems, Monitor and
Alarm systems, QUIKPAGER 2400, etc. The TAP output
connects to QUIKPAGER Wireless. QUIKSERVER has an
internal battery to retain messages in transit in
case of power failure.
PageAlert
Use PageAlert to notify
any change of status of 16 dry-contact ports. By
programming QUIKPAGER Wireless you can assign
each port to page one person or a group of people.
Each port can be programmed with a canned message.
You can program each port to page on contact closure,
contact open or both. When paging on contact closure
or contact open only, you can program per port, a
delay to page and a number of repeats until the port
returns to its original status. PageAlert is
ideal for monitoring status of alarm systems in buildings,
machinery, temperature, humidity, smoke, doors and
numerous industrial and commercial applications.
PageAlert connects to QUIKPAGER Wireless using
an RS-232 cable of up to 500 ft. in length.
PageAlert Extender
Each PageAlert Extender
provides an additional 16 monitoring ports to the
system. You can use up to (5) PageAlert Extenders
with PageAlert to monitor up to (96) ports.
