QUIKTEL
Wireless is a paging unit specially designed to transmit
alarm messages from PageAlert Wireless. An Alarm message
may have the name of the person carrying the wireless transmitter
and the location zone of the transmitter that originated
the alarm.
When QUIKTEL receives alarm messages from PageAlert, it automatically
converts programmable canned text messages to voice for transmission
to mobile radios and telephones.
QUIKTEL uses the telephone line to send text messages to
commercial paging companies or to call telephones to deliver
alarm voice messages.
For on-site coverage, QUIKTEL uses VHF or UHF transmitters
of 5, 25, 50 or 100 Watts to page POCSAG pagers or to send
voice messages to radios with programmable CTCSS tones.
Messages can also be typed on the keyboard or received from
other TAP sources..
